The new Gund Gallery building has carefully considered the mission of the art history curriculum to match the program. The building includes a large 6,100 sq. foot gallery, a smaller secondary gallery, an entry and lower level lobby for public gatherings, a 136 seat auditorium, classroom, seminar room, offices and a 3,400 sq. foot art storage space. The building, which includes a geothermal heating and cooling system, is currently slated for LEED Silver certification.
