Located centrally on Kenyon’s campus, the Cox Health and Counseling Center is easily accessible for students to receive help quickly and conveniently. The two-story, 8,500 square foot, state-of-the-art medical facility was named after James D. Cox, a 1960 alumnus of Kenyon College.
Gund partnership added copious amounts of windows to create a open and airy feeling; letting in natural light to show off the wood tones and white walls. For privacy reasons the new building features a separate waiting room for health services while the upstairs is for counseling services. More student patients are able to be seen due to the additional examination rooms that surround a central nursing station. Upstairs is also home to faculty offices and private meeting room.
