The six-story, 229,000-square-foot patient tower added capacity in multiple areas, including surgical suites, medical and surgical beds, labor and delivery, and the new Emergency Center. When construction was completed, the hospital’s total bed count grew from 142 to 210 beds. Additionally, the first four floors are now operational, while the top two floors are shelled space to accommodate future growth. This will allow the hospital to assess what services are needed most in the coming years and use the space accordingly. (Breaking New Ground Project)
