LIttle Italy Private Residence

Photographer: Brad Feinknopf

Client: Robert Maschke Architects

Location: Cleveland, OH

Shoot Date:
September 28, 2016
This unique modern home sits in Cleveland’s historic Little Italy neighborhood. Situated on a site that is narrow and bound by three shot-gun homes, a retaining wall, and a condominium building, the home is in two distinct volumes, pushed to the edges of the site and connected by a covered bridge/walk-way. The largest of the two volumes is the main house for a growing family, while the other volume is the guest home plus studio for the industrial designer family that currently resides there. With accents of bamboo millwork found in the stairs and cabinetry and a floor that is made of troweled concrete, the interior is sleek and modern with white as the main color palette throughout.
