An art-collecting couple in Connecticut combine two nearby midcentury modern homes as a retreat for art and visiting artists: Marcel Breuer’s 1951 Stillman House, built for Rufus and Leslie Stillman, which serves as an artist residency; and the Huvelle House, completed in 1953 by another Harvard Five architect, John Johansen, which serves as the couple’s residence
