As part of the initiative to expand access to children and their families around the greater Houston area the first phase of The Woodlands Campus Master Plan for Texas Children’s Hospital includes a 54,900 square foot satellite pediatric community hospital. The campus is master planned to accommodate growth through multiple building phases. The initial development includes a five-level, full-service inpatient hospital building, a separate six-level medical office building (MOB) housing outpatient clinics, offices and ancillary support spaces, a freestanding central plant and six-level parking garage. Future development phases envision an expansion of the inpatient hospital, a second MOB for ambulatory clinics and services and parking garage expansion.
