Elevating The Ohio State University to a national leader in sports medicine, the Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute is 110,000sq.ft. brings more than 15 interdisciplinary specialities and patient services, 160 sports medicine faculty and staff; and performance labs under one roof. The facility provides expanded space for OSUMC’s Sports Medicine’s collaborative programs of healthcare, athletics, education, training and medical research. Located on the first floor, the 30,000sq.ft. surgery center has four operating rooms - with a capacity for two more - and only the second outpatient surgical facility within the OSUWMC system. The nonsurgical practice will double its size from its original location and the physical therapy gym has specialized treatment areas including a dance studio and a motion-capture lab with pressure sensitive floor.
