The modernist home of French-born artist and muralist Jean Charlot. Charlot lived in Mexico as a child and young adult and was a contemporary of Diego Rivera. The Honolulu house where he lived after accepting a teaching position at the University of Hawaii, was designed IN 1958 by George "Pete" Wimberly, a founding partner of the firm WATG (Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo).
