Located on the second floor of the East Tower of Children’s Hospital Colorado on the Anschutz Medical Campus, the MDC is an innovative space design to enable optimal medical care, as well as provide patient comfort. The largest of its kind at 24,000-sq.ft. and with almost thirty clinics participating enhancing the ability for clinics to provide coordinated care for children with complex needs; the Multidisciplinary Clinic has twenty-six exam rooms, and ten consult rooms. Not only are the exam rooms “super-sized” but this clinic boasts a family lounge which even included work stations, a community partner space and three entertaining play areas with soft play areas which are safe for children but still allow them to be themselves and have fun.
