This renovation to a Dutch Colonial farmhouse in the Catskill Mountains preserves a 1784 stone residence as the centerpiece of its new plan. A sequence of internally linked pavilions extend into the landscape and relate back to existing barn structures. The new addition creates space for new bedrooms, living spaces and a study. Collectively, the plan integrates a community of related buildings to give the impression of a small village.
