US Land Port of Entry at Champlain

Photographer: Michael Moran

Shoot Date:

The very first thing that travelers now see when entering the United States in Champlain, NY is beautiful etched metal fabric from Cambridge Architectural. The Champlain Port of Entry, one of the northern border’s busiest crossings, is now outfitted with two different Cambridge Architectural systems that lend stunning aesthetic appeal and inherent functionality to its primary inspection booths and two adjacent processing facilities.
The Cambridge system features a ten-lane-wide expanse of metal fabric etched with the words "United States of America" above the inspection booths, and panels etched with the word "Champlain" outfit a two-story cargo processing facility. Meanwhile, a mesh shading system modernizes the Port’s Commercial Processing Facility.
