Located in the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Makerspace @ Columbia is the main makerspace for the entire campus and is available for use by all students. Centered on an open work area with the latest digital modeling and fabrication equipment, the creative workshop encourages exploration, cross-disciplinary research, prototyping, and discussion. SYA is proud that rapid response solutions for healthcare workers during COVID-19 are one of the first things to be created in the makerspace. (Stephen Yablon Architecture)
